The menu of the Motorola ZN5
In my opinion, the menu of previous Motorola phones was not all that user-friendly. However, it has improved on the Motorola ZN5, where the menu is straightforward; consisting of nine icons. The graphic design is not that special, although all options are at hand. The standard display of icons can also be changed at your own preference to list or spinner display. In spinner display, the selected icon is enlarged in the centre whilst the remaining icons are at the bottom of the screen; it does make the menu look an awful lot better though. Furthermore, you can place 4 shortcuts on the main screen, in order to have quick access to frequently used functions. Not too comprehensive or special, yet certainly clear.

The Motorola ZN5 Motozine handset comes in a colorful package with hundreds of tiny pictures and part of a text with reference to a 5.0 megapixel digital camera as decoration. The cell phone itself looks neat, although not particularly exciting. The buttons are integrated in the cover, preventing dirt from getting in between. The buttons on the Motorola ZN5 Motozine can be locked with the slide button on the side. Several accessories are also found in the package, among which a battery charger, a headset, a data cable, a TV cable to show the pictures on a television screen, a software CD and several user manuals.
